WHAT? Frederick County Retired School Personnel Association (FCRSPA)

WHY? FCRSPA offers a variety of benefits, activities and opportunities designed to protect and enrich your retirement. We are:​

• your liaison with the FCPS Board of Education, participating in Insurance Council Meetings, speaking to protect your insurance benefits.

• your hosts for gatherings that allow you to stay connected with former colleagues and offer a chance to meet new friends

• your opportunity to give back to the community in a myriad of ways, using our resources and your time to make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, focusing on Frederick County children by:

  • collecting donations for needy FCPS students by

  • donating to Toys-for-Tots

  • serving as Frederick Fair Volunteers

  • making no-sew-blankets for Children of Incarcerated Parents

  • and providing scholarship funds to FCPS graduates who are entering teacher education

• your local connection to the Maryland Retired School Personnel Association (MRSPA). MRSPA (www.mrspa.org) is the state organization which provides strong and visible presence in the State Legislature, working to protect our retirement benefits. MRSPA also offers a variety of other retirement-related benefits to enrich your retirement years.

• Choose your method of payment:

  • Dues Deduction - annual deduction from your July retirement check. Just "Set it and forget it."

    • Go green and never worry about missing a bill or losing a check in the mail.

  • Check - pay annually by personal check via USPS.

  • Credit Card - pay annually, online, with credit card.​

• Complete the appropriate form​ and sign it. Then e-mail or snail mail the signed form to the address at the bottom.
