Welcome to the Frederick County Retired School Personnel Association (FCRSPA) website. FCRSPA is a not-for-profit organization comprised of teachers, counselors, bus drivers, administrators, secretaries, cafeteria workers and all those who retired after years of work supporting the students of Frederick County, Maryland. We are affiliated with the Maryland Retired School Personnel Association (MRSPA) and the National Retired Teachers' Association (NRTA), AARP's Educator Community.

 

The stated mission of FCRSPA is "Working Together to Protect and Enrich Our Retirement." We carry out this mission by supporting and/or initiating legislation on the local, state, and federal level that will benefit retirees, by keeping our members informed of existing benefits and of our efforts to improve them and by holding membership meetings and social events where members can gather in fellowship with former colleagues and friends and, perhaps, make new connections.

 

As an organization, we are evolving to reflect the goals and aspirations of a more contemporary society. Through our shared values, we promote an environment where all retirees feel included, respected, and appreciated. Membership retention and recruiting are critical elements for the success of our organization.
